The Columbia Ski Club's annual food drive to benefit the Howard County Food Bank is coming up! The Howard County Food Bank has set up a dedicated virtual link for CSC members to make donations. The link will be active from Oct 30 to Nov 10. Those wishing to donate just need to click the link, enter their information, and submit; the link is secure and very user-friendly. Funds donated by CSC members will go directly to the Howard County Food Bank to support local families and individuals experiencing food insecurity. At the general meeting on November 10, we will also collect new/unopened non-perishable food (including pet food) items, and cash or checks made out to the Howard County Food Bank.
Especially during this time when many people have been affected by layoffs and cuts to assistance programs, even a small donation goes a long way: a $50 donation can feed an entire family of 4 for a week!. Help us meet our CSC goal of $1000!
