Howard County's Christmas in April program brings groups of volunteers to charitably work on several dozen houses each year. The Columbia Ski Club has worked jointly with Arbitron on more and more challenging houses over the last three years. Sue and Ray met several times to organize before the event with Arbitron representatives (Bob and Tony), Christmas in April organizers, and the homeowners. It was an aggessive home repair and handicap facilities installation that lasted well into the evening. The majority of the work was done in one day in a flurry of loosely organized construction work. There was food, fun, and learning amongst the heart-warming work. Thanks to all who helped with their expertise, time and caring.
