ON-SNOW ALPINE SKI RACE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES
The Liberty Mountain Racing Team has a great race training program for any skier who desires to
improve their giant slalom or slalom racing skills.
Check out their website at LibertyRacing.org
DRYLAND/IN-LINE SKATE (SKI RACE) TRAINING
Off-season training is available to racers who wish to continue to work on fundamental racing skills.
The drills and techniques taught by our coach emphasize giant slalom and slalom skills which are
readily transferable to alpine ski racing. Participants should be comfortable with in-line skating.
Any CRT athletes who are interested in the training are encouraged to drop by and observe our training the next few Sundays from 9 to 12 at Martin Luther King Park off New Hampshire Ave. in Eastern Montgomery County. We will end dryland training as soon as we get on snow in early to mid-December. If you are interested in next year's training, we begin in April and continue through early December.
To gain some valuable insight into our coach Gregory Gurshman and his proven technique, we encourage you to visit
his website.

NASTAR
CRT encourages all Columbia Ski Club members to participate in NASTAR (National Standard Race). When completing the NASTAR registration, please include "Columbia Ski Club - MD" in the SKI CLUB/TEAM section of the form. Race in NASTAR events often. This is how we can all work to improve our ski club's national ranking.
