The ACFF and the Conservancy seek to educate moviegoers and inspire a connection with the natural environment. This year, we are pleased to feature ten short films, seven of which are specifically geared toward a younger audience and can be viewed on Friday, our family friendly night.

The dates are Friday and Saturday, May 29th and 30th. The cost is $25.00 per night per campsite. We can put up to 2 tents or 1 trailer per site, so invite some friends and share a site or just share a good time. These are sites with no hook ups but the bathhouse and water fills are close by. Lurman Woodland Theatre is an outdoor community amphitheater located in Catonsville Maryland. We have been bringing free concerts every weekend in June, July and August to this beautiful, naturally wooded setting year after year since 1992. We take pride in producing a program that includes many musical styles, from Barbershop to Bluegrass, Rock to Reggae, Country to Cajun, and more! Meet at 5:30 at the theater, the concert starts at 6:00 PM. Classic country music like it was played back then. They'll have you doing a boot scootin' two-step or snuggling up close for a buckle polishing slow tune. The trail is 21 miles from the Maryland Line to York; anyone wanting a longer ride can add more. After the ride we can have a late lunch on the trail at Serenity-Station in Seven Valleys. Can carpool from various convenient locations. It’s about 60 miles from Snowden River to Church Street in Seven Valleys. We will plan on arriving in Seven Valleys about 10:15 am, leaving Columbia by 9 am. On the way home we can stop at Brown’s Orchard for fresh fruits, vegetables and awesome fresh bakery items. 08/16/2009 Sun | Biking | The Lancaster Bicycle Club's 27th annual Covered Bridge Metric Century. These 100, 50 and 25 kilometer (62, 31 & 15 mile) rides wind their way through some of Pennsylvania's most famous rural scenery, including seven covered bridges. The terrain is rolling with a few hills on the 100K ride and flat to moderately rolling on the 50K & 25K rides. The rewards are stunning vistas of the richest farmland in America. Registration is $20. Children 12 and under are free. The fee covers lunch, water stops, sag wagons, cue sheets, road markings, ice cream and a general good time.

Our tour will ride quiet country roads, see historic farms, taverns and houses, and eat lunch beside the historic Sachs covered bridge over Marsh creek. 1,000 runners are expected on the 21st, 5,000 walkers are expected on the 22nd.
The Hospital needs more volunteers on Sunday due to the number of participants.
On both days volunteers must report at 3:30 and stay until 6:00, course monitors stay until 8:30.
(FYI - Both the Ravens and Redskins play at 1:00 that Sunday.)

Moderate 4 or 7 mile hike along the Middle and Little Patuxent Rivers, easy except for a few hills and rocky parts. 11/26/2009 Thu | Dining | Annual Thanksgiving Day Get Together - Thanksgiving Day is just around the corner, and Joyce would like to invite anyone who wants to join her, to her house in Columbia. She has a lot to be thankful for this year, and she really wants to celebrate with friends.
Come around 4:00 PM. Joyce will fix turkey and a few sides. Bring other dishes, appetizers, deserts, side dishes to go with the Turkey. She is still having trouble walking and standing, so assistance with food contributions is greatly appreciated.
