Join Jennifer for a day of tubing on the Shennadoah or Potamac rivers at Harpers Ferry. We can bring coolers and rent a tube to carry the cooler and stop and have lunch on the rocks. Price is approx.$28 for tube and shuttle bus. $10 if you have your own tube. Lancaster Metric Century. These 100, 50 and 25 kilometer (62, 31 & 15 mile) rides wind their way through some of Pennsylvania's most famous rural scenery, including seven covered bridges. The terrain is rolling with a few hills on the 100K ride and flat to moderately rolling on the 50K & 25K rides. The rewards are stunning vistas of the richest farmland in America. Registration is $20. Children 12 and under are free. The fee covers lunch, water stops, sag wagons, cue sheets, road markings, ice cream and a general good time. Bike helmets are mandatory for all CSC rides.

Hike - Sugarloaf Mountain (Northern Peaks Trail). This is a moderate 5.5-mile hike with an elevation gain of 990 feet. It’s the perfect time of year to enjoy the fall colors from the White Rock overlook! Pack your favorite snacks, a lunch, and water. Wear your hiking boots and dress appropriately for the weather. Meet at Dobbin at 9:00 a.m. to car pool. Please bring a few extra dollars to chip in for carpool gasoline costs. Would someone be willing to volunteer to coordinate the carpoolers at Dobbin Center so I can meet you at the entrance to Sugarloaf Mountain?

Gettysburg country bike ride. Tour the picturesque countryside of Adams County around the town of Gettysburg. Our tour will ride quiet country roads, see historic farms, taverns and houses, and eat lunch beside the historic Sachs covered bridge over Marsh creek. The ride is approximately 32 miles with some hilly terrain. Bring water and lunch. Bike helemts are mandatory on all CSC rides. Meet at Dobbin Center at 8:30am.
